Dylan Cole grew up in Melbourne, Australia. At the age of 15 he entered the national underage comedy competition Class Clowns and went on to claim 2nd Place in two National Finals in 2004 & 2006.
With friends at university he formed silly & absurdist sketch group Wizard Sandwiches and then branched out to write, produce and perform his critically acclaimed solo work in theatres & festivals around the world.
Cole is now known for his unique style, a combination of theatre, comedy and fictional storytelling. He writes intelligent, witty and poignant pieces and puts it the hand of playful, neurotic characters.
Coles's recent work includes The Moon in Me, which saw him analyse the accuracy, merits, and subtleties of astrology over 365 days and his latest work Blank Tiles, in which he plays a SCRABBLE World Champion suffering from Alzheimer's disease.
Blank Tiles has been frequently described as intelligent, hilarious and moving. It had a sold out season in Adelaide Fringe & Edinburgh Festival Fringe Festivals and earned multiple 5-star reviews.
He is currently writing two new shows to premiere in 2019.
